Not sure exactly when I got nicknamed the grizzlybear. I guess it had something to do with my weight and how I looked back in college. I do like the outdoors, however I am neither an extremely fit outdoor guru nor possess any special wilderness survival skills, in fact I can't even start a proper camp fire most of the time. I do, however, enjoy getting away from the city and enjoy the fresh air outdoors. While I am outdoors, I enjoy taking photos. I don't claim nor consider myself a technical savvy photographer, as most of the time I don't know what I am doing with the controls on the camera either. Alas nowadays my wife gets pissed at me if I spend too much money on new toys, so I make do with whatever equipment I have. However it is my humble opinion that expensive equipments and obsession with the technicalities are not directly relevant to the process of being at the right place at the right time to capture the experience.
But whom am I kidding, I would gladly accept a higher paying job in order to play with cameras.
